Two Bleats Up: The Roger Ebert Memorial Sheep Game

Re: Two Bleats Up: The Roger Ebert Memorial Sheep Game
I guess I remembered Grizzly Man as being the more mainstream doc. And I hoped that sheep would pick a documentary by the filmmakers mentioned in the question. Funny how that works great sometimes and not at all other times.

On a different note, I think that officially kills my chance of winning.

S:22 – In I HATED HATED HATED HATED THIS MOVIE, Ebert said he reserved ZERO star ratings for movies he considered immoral. Name a movie Ebert awarded zero stars

I'm curious how the next question will pan out. I don't remember many of Ebert's specific star ratings so this was a struggle. So I picked the most recent review I remember getting no stars. Highly recommended to all that haven't seen it!
In retrospect, maybe a 0-star review that started up a well-publicized feud with a certain comedian would've been the better way to go.

I picked the one that inspired this quote...
"This movie doesn't scrape the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't below the bottom of the barrel. This movie doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with barrels."
It's also the only one I knew for sure that he gave 0 stars to.

I'm not sure if mine is correct because technically it got no star rating, which is not quite the same thing as 0 stars. Although it's sheep, so we'll see if I connected with others.

Well, I'm having a lot of fun with this, even though I'm at the bottom. First time sheeper, didn't really know how the slams worked, and just enjoy the movie stuff. Next time...I'll know how to do it better. I can take the ribbing!

Re: Two Bleats Up: The Roger Ebert Memorial Sheep Game
Great answer (even though it didn't match). One of my favorite Ebert reviews, and such a wonderful smackdown of an obnoxious star:
The movie created a spot of controversy last February. According to a story by Larry Carroll of MTV News, Rob Schneider took offense when Patrick Goldstein of the Los Angeles Times listed this year's Best Picture Nominees and wrote that they were "ignored, unloved and turned down flat by most of the same studios that ... bankroll hundreds of sequels, including a follow-up to 'Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo,' a film that was sadly overlooked at Oscar time because apparently nobody had the foresight to invent a category for Best Running Penis Joke Delivered by a Third-Rate Comic."
Schneider retaliated by attacking Goldstein in full-page ads in Daily Variety and the Hollywood Reporter. In an open letter to Goldstein, Schneider wrote: "Well, Mr. Goldstein, I decided to do some research to find out what awards you have won. I went online and found that you have won nothing. Absolutely nothing. No journalistic awards of any kind ... Maybe you didn't win a Pulitzer Prize because they haven't invented a category for Best Third-Rate, Unfunny Pompous Reporter Who's Never Been Acknowledged by His Peers."
Reading this, I was about to observe that Schneider can dish it out but he can't take it. Then I found he's not so good at dishing it out, either. I went online and found that Patrick Goldstein has won a National Headliner Award, a Los Angeles Press Club Award, a RockCritics.com award, and the Publicists' Guild award for lifetime achievement.
Schneider was nominated for a 2000 Razzie Award for Worst Supporting Actor, but lost to Jar-Jar Binks.
But Schneider is correct, and Patrick Goldstein has not yet won a Pulitzer Prize. Therefore, Goldstein is not qualified to complain that Columbia financed "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo" while passing on the opportunity to participate in "Million Dollar Baby," "Ray," "The Aviator," "Sideways" and "Finding Neverland." As chance would have it, I have won the Pulitzer Prize, and so I am qualified. Speaking in my official capacity as a Pulitzer Prize winner, Mr. Schneider, your movie sucks.

I know it's sheep and there are no wrong answers but...

Yeah, that's why I picked it, although I guess I should have just gone with NORTH. I own the above book, so this question was easy for me...then again, maybe not so easy, since no one matched!

I'm curious to see North again. I saw it when it was out in the theater and I can't remember anything about it, other than I seemed to think it was average. I don't remember walking out of the theater thinking it was one of the worst films I've ever seen.

I am crossing my finger that answers are all over the place for the last question it's the only way I can hold the lead.
