re: Don Jon (2013) D: Gordon-Levitt; S: Gordon-Levitt, Johansson, Danza
This is a tough one for me. Have met both Tony Danza and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in person before and basically, polar opposite experiences.
Tony Danza was an asshole who told me to "always say please and thank you" after I said both please and thank you when asking for and then receiving his autograph as a little kid. It was partly worth it though since I can say my mom told off Tony Danza ("He did say please and thank you, jack ass."). He thought who he was while he shot A Brooklyn State of Mind in my neighborhood. Abe Vigoda though, is, was, and always will be all class.
Much later in life I waited on the ticketholder line for a screening of Mean Streets behind Joseph Gordon Levitt, who could not have been more gracious and laid back when others on line started to notice him as "the kid on that show." (this was long after 3rd Rock ended, but before he became mainstream). I didn't say anything to him or anything since I didn't want to be "that guy" as he chilled on line with his his friends waiting to see Mean Streets (also, like him since he was in fact waiting on line to see Mean Streets). But, he was really cool with everyone who spoke with him.
So, I'll probably see this and just hope Danza doesn't completely ruin the film.

Relativity Media has set an October 18th release date for Don Jon (formerly Don Jon’s Addiction). Gordon-Levitt stars in the R-rated comedy which also marks his writing/directing debut. The film humorously explores the obstacles to honest emotional intimacy through the sexploits of a buff young ladies man who connects better to computer porn than his conquests. Julianne Moore, Scarlett Johansson, Brie Larson and Tony Danza also star in the pic which was picked up in a precedent-setting deal this year at Sundance. Don Jon bows the same day as Sony/Screen Gems’ Carrie and Warner Bros’ The Seventh Son, both also starring Moore, and The Weinstein Company’s The Butler.

really good trailer. Good to see Danza doing feature work. I always liked him. I wonder who's film will be better as a writer/director/actor. Joseph Gordon Levitt or Ryan Gosling. They both have some catching up to do with James Franco.

I'd have to be falling down, puking, limp dick drunk NOT to bang her. I would let her ruin me.

As for Supermallet's dream of seeing her nude, can you believe she wanted to appear nude in The Island but Michael Bay said "no" because he insisted the movie be PG-13?
Christopher Nolan and Wally Pfister need to team back up to shoot 90 minutes worth of IMAX footage of her completely nude. Then Jon Chu and/or James Cameron can shoot another 90 minutes of her nude in 3D. Make it a double feature.

How is your marriage going btw, Eddie Money? Lol.
Seriously though, I'm not a SJ fan for the most part but goddamn is she attractive a hell.
Movie looks good. Hopefully it rocks for JGL.

My tin ear wondered what kind of accents they were. I wonder why he choose to do it that way, maybe he shot there and wanted to add to the mileu or something. Hopefully it won't be distracting .

it's quite obvious that his character is similar to the Jersey Shore type of kids.

Looks pretty good, JGL has pretty much appeared in at least one of my favorite movies over the last 3 or 4 years so i've become a big fan.
