I saw Unlocked today.
Apparently this movie was filmed almost 3 years ago and just released this year.
Has a decent cast with Noomi Rapace, Michael Douglas, John Malkovich and Orlando Bloom.
Story was a little too convoluted with some very contrived plot points.
Overall, watchable, but definitely not great. C+ from me.

Band Aid - Zoe Lister-Jones and Adam Pally are a miserable couple that smoke a ton of pot and decide to start a band and adapt their fights into songs. Pretty enjoyable little movie, if somewhat standard indie fare. Solid cast all around, Armisen is perfectly weird and hilarious in his awkward and entirely uncomfortable role.

Batman v Superman (2016)
3-hour Ultimate Edition R-rated cut
I've owned this BD for over 1 year and finally made the time to watch this tonight.
I actually liked this cut more than the theatrical cut. I last saw this in theaters when it came out in Spring 2016.
It was nice seeing Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman until I can see Wonder Woman again when it comes out on 4K UHD later this month.

Cartels (2017) — Well, better than some of Seagal's more recent movies of the past 3-4 years, but given how terrible they were, that's not saying much. The "twist" was predictable, action weak, boringly choreographed fights and a paint-by-numbers plot. 2.0/5

Re: Last Movie You Watched Thread
I saw 3 movies today. Most that I've seen in 1 day in a long time.
A Korean movie theater opened up near by home a few months ago and I decided to visit it today:
Saw The Battleship Island (2017)
I really enjoyed this. Korean-Japanese WW II drama about Koreans who were tricked by the Japanese to work in a hellish coal mine prison. Mainly followed the story of a father-daughter who ended up at this prison together.
Playing in very limited release here in the States. I honestly enjoyed this movie more than Dunkirk. I give this a solid B+
Rented a couple of free DVDs/BDs from Red Box tonight:
Security (2017)
Basically Die Hard in a shopping mall. Filmed in Bulgaria, Banderas plays a war veteran who gets caught in the wrong place at the wrong time working a minimum wage job as mall security. Terrorists attack the mall in search of a young witness in a trial who is hiding out in the mall.
Small scale movie, but I thought it was fun. Has a few decent supporting actors. Ben Kingsley and Liam McIntye (Spartacus)
Ghost in the Shell (2017)
I actually thought this was a very well made science fiction movie. Reminded me a lot of Blade Runner with the setting & style. I get this movie got a lot of crap for Scar Jo playing a Japanese character. But then again:
I thought she did a good job with the physicality the role required.
Not familiar with the source material, but overall I thought it was an enjoyable rental.

It Comes at Night - 4/5
Psychological thriller about a man trying to protect his family from a deadly plague that has ravaged mankind. Really liked this one, especially the acting, cinematography, music and atmosphere.

Franco was cool -- the horror elements were nice, but the film is rather choppy and definitely on the low budget spectrum. I'll say it's worth a rental. Francesca Eastwood is hot.

The washed out rock star bits were hilarious, but the film is not good. Some good locales -- they filmed it in Chile. Stay tuned during and after the credits for more scenes. Olga Kurylenko is still hot as hell.

68 Kill - The White Trashiest movie I've seen this side of Killer Joe. But with a surprising amount of flair for an ultra low budget flick. Haaga does Troma proud. Like a thriller comedy shot on a porn set but without explicit sex?

Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 (3D)...surprisingly more fun the second time around. It was ok in the theater, but watching now everything clicking (except that horrible father/son energy ball catch). Really enjoying. The 3D is excellent. The depth is really good. Yondu and Rocket's breakout scene on the ship was especially great in 3D. I will say I liked vol. 1's soundtrack better, but it's all good.

The Hero (2017) — Works solely on Sam Elliott's brilliant, understated and quiet performance more so than a so-so script or direction. I did like seeing Laura Prepon as well, deserves more work. 3.5/5

Wonder Woman (2017) — Saw this for a second time (on 4K which looks and sounds amazing BTW) and I actually liked it even more. I think I originally gave it something like 4.25 but raised that to 4.5/5.
