Central Intelligence If Hart's manic comedy is not your cup of tea then you probably won't enjoy this. Johnson acting like a 14 year old girl through this was funny. A cool nod to 16 candles in aa couple spots. A couple nice cameos as well. Has a couple similarities to Knight and Day

Not a traditional heist film. A little stealing, a little revenge, a little hostage situation.

Keanu (2016) -- Hilarious 98 minute movie about 2 lovable losers who masquerade as badass gangsters looking for a missing kitten. Ridiculous concept and premise, but I thought it was executed well.

Central Intelligence (2016) -- Pretty good buddy comedy with The Rock and Kevin Hart. Great chemistry and lots of laughs.

Dawg Fight on Fusion

Not a big MMA or street fighting fan but this was interesting.

Just wished there was subtitles since you could not understand all the "street" dialogue

Re: Last Movie You Watched Thread

Green Room - almost exactly what I was expecting, a few moments seemed oddly staged but overall a really well directed, thoroughly entertaining thriller. Hell of a cast for a sub-$5m budget movie.

Short Circuit (1986)
Howard The Duck (1986)

Saw both of these films as part of a Double Feature at a local theater. So much fun!

Re: Last Movie You Watched Thread

Batman v. Superman (Extended)...it was serviceable. most of the iconic moments were spoiled by Snyder's overwrought, over-stuffed plot and not so handy direction. i was ok with the pacing and length, but it was so bleak and dull, this world. the music cues seemed oddly peculiar as well. none of the soundtrack really jived with me. wasn't as iconic as it should have been. the actors were serviceable as well. i didn't think Affleck's Batman was all that great or even Gadot as Wonder Woman. i mean they were perfectly fine, but nothing spectacular. i guess i expected more since people raved about their performances. overall, it was just dark and glum and not triumphant like a movie like this is supposed to be.

Anesthesia - Flawed ensemble saved by solid performances from Sam Waterston and, surprisingly enough, Kristen Stewart.

Re: Last Movie You Watched Thread

Jem And The Holograms - HBO: A bit unfairly maligned, as I was expecting something atrocious given its 1 1/2 star rating. It was a cute and airy film, very safe for young teens to watch.

I never watched the show or read the comic so if it did not hew closely to one or the other maybe that was a contributing factor in why the film failed to attract an audience.

Re: Last Movie You Watched Thread

Did show the brutal life of a whaler. Unlike JAWS however it made me root for the whale.

A little ID4 mixed in with a little zombie apocalypse. Mix in a couple good looking kids kicking ass and it was a different take on a post apocalyptic world. I can't say I easily saw it coming but I did suspect part of the twist.

Not a huge Julia Roberts fan but she did a nice job in this one and was willing to take on a haggard, no make-up look. Don't really care for the confusion of constant flashbacks and convoluted sub-plots. Did not see the twist coming in this one.
