Soderbergh w/ Mara..ok...you've got my interest.

This was called The Bitter Pill, so they changed titles. Not sure why but they did. I heard of this film under TBP. Thought we had a thread on it but the advanced search brought up nothing for me so maybe we mentioned it in here once.

Soderbergh = my butt in a seat.

Soderbergh + Mara, Tatum, Law = my butt in a seat with bells on.

As one of the few who loved Haywire, I can't wait to see what's next.

Could you stop talking about your ass?

I mean... this is a movie forum, not some 'I want to shove bells up my ass' forum for weirdos.

Soderbergh remains the hardest working retired director I've ever seen. Motherfucker's made more movies since his retirement than he did when he was working!

Looks good. I'm a sucker for anything with Steven Soderbergh's name attached to it.

Rooney Mara is the new Natalie Portman. I'm okay with that. However, that trailer is way, way too vague. It's like one those Mad Men clips advertising the next episode.

That's an odd thing to say.

So we're in agreement: Kate Mara is the new Keira Knightley.

She sounds exactly like Portman in the trailer.

Those trailers go out of their way to hide what appears to be obvious:

Spoiler:
That Channing Tatum is the murder victim, and likely has a pretty small role.

I heard that they're going to delay the release of this movie so that they can release it in 3D later on.

Behind the Candelabra will be his final film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1291580/

Also if nobody has checked this out yet, they should. Good interview

Re: Side Effects (2/8/13, Dir: Soderbergh)

Ebert ends his 3.5 star review of this movie with: "Soderbergh came, he saw, he conquered, and now he's moving on."

Also this minor spoiler sounds nice (from that interview)
Spoiler:
In Side Effects, Catherine Zeta-Jones has a sex scene with Rooney Mara, and your HBO film Behind the Candelabra stars Michael Douglas as Liberace and Matt Damon as his lover. Are you trying to spice up or break up the Douglas-Zeta-Jones marriage?
