They need $40,000, and have a month to do it. Various items, including autographed scripts, for those who contribute. The director, Elijah Drenner, also did American Grindhouse, so this should be a lot of fun.

If Dick Miller gets a movie of his own, then Robert Picardo should too. They're both game players in all of Joe Dante's movies.

Sure, that's sound logic. I eagerly await the forthcoming Archie Hahn documentary!

A worthy subject to be sure (and no offense to Picardo and his fans, but Miller has had a far longer and more interesting career to be sure- beyond Dante movies)
Tho I don't have any funds to contribute, I do hope this gets made and I will purchase a copy if/when it does. A Miller cameo was always a bright spot in a movie for me growing up and it's going to be a very sad day for me when I run across his obit.

William Smith is another face I used to see frequently growing up in the 70's and into the 80's- and he'd also make for a great bio doc- maybe even more so than DM. Smith had a hugely surprising and fascinating background before ever getting into film.

A Dick Miller doc sounds awesome.

Dick Miller rules so much. I met him a few years back at the New Beverly Cinema; couldn't have been a nicer guy. If this happens, I'll watch it.

Why not toss them $5 to help it happen?

Oh, I will. Kickstarter is blocked by my job, so it'll have to be later.

Or you could just pose as Gosling and charge for autographs.
