He's just saying that because it's not drawn Anime style.

What the fuck did this thread turn into?

The problem is there's also too much product in theaters and not enough screens. You have both Ant-Man and Trainwreck opening in 3100+ locations beginning tomorrow night, but you also have Minions, Jurassic World, and Inside Out still holding their ground. For a 3D product like Ant-Man, its easier for Disney to throw it in 3D as the only other movie out in 3D is Minions. Jurassic World and Terminator have been limited to one or two 3D showings per theater, tops. Inside Out is no longer in 3D in Vegas (in fact, I saw the last 3D showing last Thursday morning to a packed house that consisted of me and me only). Ant-Man can congest 3D screens with Minions with the hopes of a higher PSA.

... there's actually a theater that still has Terminator on 2 screens in 3D on Friday, but... uh... hmmm... well... if anyone has a bucket list item of having sex in a movie theater, I have a perfect opportunity for you.

Only among the media and the million people who watch her TV show. The Apatow fanboys will probably show up also, but that still doesn't translate into a movie audience worth that kind of mass opening. This should have gotten more of a platform release.

The trailers (at least the green band mass market ones) aren't doing it any favors either. They're awful.

Mainstream American comedy led by female comedian could get women to see this too. There aren't many of those. Maybe they're expecting women to also want to see this too?

My step-father watches clips of Amy Schumer on YouTube before he goes to bed at night. He can't wait for this movie. The fact that he even knows who Amy Schumer is at all is mind boggling to me. I'm not saying Trainwreck is going to pull in $200 million or anything, but there is actual buzz. They also promoted the heck out of Lebron James's role during the NBA playoffs. They made it seem like he was the third lead in the movie. That's bound to draw some extra people to the theater.

I have no clue. One day he just asked me what I thought about Amy Schumer. My jaw pretty much hit the floor and I was too flustered to even ask him. My assumption is that he either saw her on a late night show or he caught a bit of her show/standup on Comedy Central.

She has been all over Comedy Central the past three years. It has been hard to miss her if you turn that channel on more than once a month.

Damn. I always learn about these comedians late. Never heard of schumer till late last year. I think cuz of Hulu having her show. I don't have cable so comedy central doesn't really take my attention aside from the rare thing i notice on Hulu or maybe Netflix.

I'm not sure if I like her or not. She's cute and kind of funny w/ her humor. Some of it runs up my alley of vulgar nature. I saw a couple episodes of her show. Not sure If I really dug it... maybe it got better.

You really need to watch her standup if you love vulgar comedy. I believe most of her specials are on youtube.

I have. I think it's just the show that I didn't click with.

Cute vulgar women, always a turn on. She's not Sarah Silverman but she'll do.

This is kind of neat, written as the reporter from Iron Man that Tony Stark messes around with.

I watched this movie in theater. Wow this movie was epic !!! ! Loved it ! Incredible actors ! Brilliant storyline, great script & effects. Can't wait for the sequel now ! Wasn't sure what to expect with this film but it definitely excelled my expectations! A new fav ! The sequel is going to be awesome because of how this film ended ! Plus no matter how old Michael Douglas gets he's still got his charm ! 5/5
