Looks like Thanos may not be in this and held to Avengers 3: http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/269...til-avengers-3
In a surprising reveal, Joss Whedon tells Desde Hollywood that despite the hint of him during the end credits of "The Avengers," don't expect Thanos to serve as the villain for at least the first sequel anyway. Whedon says:
"Thanos is more powerful. He is so powerful; he is not someone you can just trot out and punch him. Like he did in the comics, you want him threading through the universe and to save the big finale for the big finale.
He is definitely a part of what I have got going on. The thing about The Avengers is that they are very powerful but not very stable. So, there will definitely be some people that will shake them up in the next installment.
This essentially indicates Thanos might not arrive on the scene until Marvel's Phase Three plans - "The Avengers 3" in 2018 then?

Why do they need to end it? Why not in a comic book style bring on a new story arc. Like when a comic changes artists / writers.

re: The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015, Whedon)
I get the feeling that there may be some misinterpretation of what Whedon said. If you watch the video of this interview, no one even mentions or alludes to Avengers 3. The question posed was: “The Avengers are very, very powerful. Why should they be concerned about someone like Thanos?” and then there's the answer posted above. Right now, Whedon is focusing on Pt.2 and who knows if he'll do another one beyond that. So when he talks about saving the "big finale for the big finale" and "He is definitely a part of what I have got going on", I take Whedon to mean Thanos is threading through Phase 2 and ending with the last contracted movie I have with Marvel (as of now), the big finale.

Are you not tired of horror films, romantic comedies, etc? Marvel, DC, or the genre itself. I don't care what movies they are, I just want them to be good. And for the most part Marvel has done that for me.

Disney is going to keep ramming Marvel and Star Wars down audiences throats just to recoup what they spent for the franchises.

Which shouldn't take long for $4 Billion, Marvel's pricetag. Toys, Movies, etc. It'll make it steadily and make more as a steady income after it as well.

Mila Kunis would make a fine Scarlet Witch. She has that Slavic look and given her heritage could easily pull off an Eastern European accent.

She would be a good one. And depending on how they go with her...she could get it done. Especially the stressed moments. That gal knows how to act like she's having a breakdown.
I'd be game for her to be Wanda. Also she's very affordable. Marvel loves that.
