Favorite Monty Python film?
Inspired by the Holy Grail quote thread, and I didn't see a previous poll.

I picked Holy Grail but it easily could have been LoB or TMoL. I would have picked the TV show if it was not worded only.

While I love both Holy Grail and Meaning of Life, Life of Brian is a comedy masterpiece that is both side-splittingly funny and genuinely thought-provoking.

MoL was too uneven for me and I never really found LoB that funny. Don't know why since I love the Pythons and Holy Grail is one of my favorite movies of all time. Yeah, I dunno. Just one of those things.

Holy Grail is one of my all-time favorites, but I also like Life of Brian. Meaning of Life is a candidate for one of those "movies everyone likes but you" threads, but I admit I only saw it once, and that was years ago.

The Meaning of Life is arguably the most like a longform Flying Circus episode, and there is some very funny stuff in it, but there's also stuff that doesn't hold up compared to the other two theatrical features.

"Life of Brian" is their greatest achievement (IMO).
"Holy Grail" is next.
"The Meaning of Life" is uneven, but does have great parts.
The other movies are just clips from the TV series or live performances of skits from the TV series, so are barely movies at all.
(Yes, this silly, silly man said that!)
