They're 10 Cloverfield Lane'ing a Karate Kid movie?

Not the same thing, at least we knew there was a movie called The Cellar being made that then revealed to be a Cloverfield movie. There wasn't even a hint of a Karate Kid 2 being filmed, just news articles from 3 years ago. I play on the site HSX so I know when movies are in production and this one was only in "development" and has been for 6 years.

So... whatever happened to this? I would think by now there'd be some leaked reaction, but I haven't read anything online.

I don't think the movie actually exists. Must've been a mistake.

I don't get the hate for the last one. I actually thought it was a decent film. It doesn't come close to the original, just something a little different.
