No clue. I loved Machete cuz I got all the stuff it was throwing but it could have been better. I do hope this one rocks the fuck out.

Why do they keep changing the release date? It's gotten amusing to see Danny Trejo's plugs at Regal nowadays where they have to insert a card with the new date over the place where he originally said it was September 13th.

If they're worried about competition, they shouldn't. This movie will draw all the people it will on opening night and maybe the next weekend then it's over for it.

Since Mel Gibson is also the villain of The Expendables 3, I'm kinda hoping he survives this movie and they cross over Machete into EX3. :D

He let the success story of El Mariachi being made for $7,000 go to his head. Instead of refining his craft, he's spent his career continually going out of his way to make movies cheap and bragging about how many stars he can cram in despite his minuscule budgets. He ends up with a half dozen too many storylines so he can get more names on the poster. Most of these actors come in for a day or two and it shows. It's really a shame as he was once a solid filmmaker.

Plus it actually does have a Spy Kid in it. Well not the character but the actress. And Machete is from Spy Kids, so it looks like you're right.

By the way, has there been any news on that random clip of Sofia Vergara yelling "MACHETE" and pumping her chest two times while screaming? Someone earlier mentioned and I agree that it seemed like she was supposed to be shooting but the effects weren't done. Left as such it looks pretty dumb.

Speaking of Michelle Rodriguez, whatever became of that Female Expendables movie she turned down? After they announced that Gina Carano signed on as a lead, the project just seems to have disappeared.
