Snow White & The Huntsman (2012, K. Stewart, Theron, Hemsworth, McShane)

Trailer came out today.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/11Wn-_uyT48" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Director: Rupert Sanders
Writers: Hossein Amini (Drive, Wings of the Dove), Evan Spiliotopoulos (A bunch of Disney sequels), Evan Daugherty

Starring:

Kristen Stewart ... Snow White
Chris Hemsworth ... The Huntsman
Charlize Theron ... The Evil Queen
Ian McShane ... Caesar
Toby Jones ... Claudius
Nick Frost ... Tiberius
Ray Winstone ... Trajan
Sam Claflin ... Prince Charmant
Bob Hoskins ... Constantine

I looked up Rupert Sanders since he has nothing really listed.

While Sanders hasn't directed any feature films just yet, he does have a few short films and an incredibly impressive selection of commercials to his name, including the point-of-view escape commercial (watch it here) for the Wolverine video game and the bullet-time football tackling commercial (watch it here) for Nike. I can't wait to see what he can do with a feature film - as all of his commercials are fantastic.
Not really a fan of that Nike ad. He also directed that DirecTV Ad that is on constantly with the robots fighting in/destroying the guys house as he moves to different TVs in the house.

Visually speaking..it heavily attracts me.. Kinda iffy on Stewart in general. How is her acting outside of the Twilight films and.....Panic Room?

Interesting timing with the release of this trailer, will it be attached to showings of Immortals? Is this a middle finger from them?

Ah...I assumed that's what it was...BUT...I don't think I knew or either remembered that Tarsem was attached to that.

I can't stand Kristen Stewart, but I love Snow White. I'm so torn on this one...

I thought they released this trailer to concide with the latest Twilight movie. This should be guaranteed to be attached to all those prints.

Charlize looks awesome but I can't stand Stewart so I'm torn.

This for sure. Universal couldn't give a fuck about Tarsem or Immortals - and they shouldn't. After seeing that abomination, my interest in his snow white flick has fallen to zero, while this one, which WASN'T even on my radar, is now something I'm really looking forward to. The trailer made it look great.

I'm gonna have to go against the grain here and say it looks like crap.

No but they were sampling "Mind Heist" (the theme track for the third Inception trailer) during several parts of the trailer.

They chose an awesome track to boost up this trailer.

It's got that Clash Of The Titans, Immortal, Conan The Barbarian, feel and look.

That trailer looked pretty good, but Kristin Stewart is the fairest one of all? I don't think so.

Re: Snow White & The Huntsman (2012, K. Stewart, Theron, Hemsworth, McShane)

What's up with all these fairy tale projects lately? There's a couple new TV shows that follow fairy tale plot lines and now there's two Snow White movies in the works? What the hell?

I haven't seen the Twilight movies but everything I've seen from Stewart is exactly the same. When she wants to convey any sort of emotion she runs her hand through her hair. That's the extent of her abilities. She's got the depth of a kiddy pool.

Re: Snow White & The Huntsman (2012, K. Stewart, Theron, Hemsworth, McShane)

Looks...interesting. If it gets good early buzz/reviews, I'll check it out in theaters. Hemsworth did great in Thor, and yea, I agree with everyone here. Theron>Stewart. I also didn't know that Nick Frost is in this.

Singh's SW movie should be a visual treat too, I'm a fan of The Cel land especially The Fall (Immortals looks really.. generic to me, I'll catch it on DVD).

Although I will say that due to the Twilight movies, Stewart gets a bad rap. She has turned in really good performances in stuff like Into the Wild, Runaways and Adventureland. I'm not sure if I'll buy her in medieval gear roughing people up, but at least the trailer kinda piques my interest.

Also, I feel like I should say I do find Stewart attractive haha. But still, Theron is way better looking. As is Ashley Greene.

Re: Snow White & The Huntsman (2012, K. Stewart, Theron, Hemsworth, McShane)

Just watched the trailer...seems very Lord of the Rings-ish visually. I'm not a fan, but look forward to seeing what Tarsem comes up with, he tends to more of an original visual stylist.

Wow, that trailer is as much of this movie as I want to see. I think I'll pass on this one.

The new trailer out for this looks pretty damn sweet. Much better than Tarsem's upcoming flick.

I'd post a link but I'm on my phone. Someone here can find it and embed, I'm sure.

Looks visually impressive. I think I'd be more sold on this movie if Kristen Stewart wasn't involved.

Yeah, it looks much better than Tarsem's version. This one looks downright gritty and violent. Love that tree bull creature thing.

Theron looks ravishing and I wish I was her milk bath. Hello!
