Sequels that take place immediately after the original? (Not filmed back to back)
I'm guessing there are a lot of them but I'm interested in this concept, that a huge adventure can happen to the characters not once, but twice over the course of a short period of time.

Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay is one...

Evil Dead II (picks up right after Evil Dead)
Army of Darkness (picks up right after Evil Dead II)

And if Evil Dead IV ever gets made, the original ending of EDIII:AoD provides an opening for IV to open right after that.

It was, but BTTF II fits this.

And I don't think Evil Dead 2 does fit. Doesnt the movie start with them going back to the cabin?
