Looks interesting. The cast seems perfect. I realized watching the previews its got three recognizable faces from Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and Sons of Anarchy. Even if it's just supporting roles, a TV geek can get excited.

which would be fucking great for Refn to have here in the states. And by the trailer it seems this is a movie that's "cool" enough to get the mainstream audience in.

2,000 screen count minimum at this point in time.

Which is great because it shows FilmDistrict has a set of balls to release it wide on weekend one, but also sucks because this is a film that will need word of mouth and it'll probably be out of those screens before it can truly spread like a platform release.

I bought the soundtrack from iTunes on Tuesday and its sensational. Been on continuous play on my iPod and in my car. Cannot wait to see this movie.

just checked BOM, Drive will be on 2400 screens on opening weekend, so its def a wide release

I caught Drive at a screening a few days ago. Simply brilliant. There's at least a half dozen scenes that will be etched in my brain. That clip in the elevator is just one of them (and that's not even the complete sequence).

Ryan Gosling's nameless Driver is iconic if only for his suit of armor: a white satin jacket with a golden scorpion on the back.

Wefn's directing honors at Cannes were warranted. Amazing look for just $13 million. Remember, at one time this was going to be a $60 million production headlined by Hugh Jackman and directed by Neil Marshall.

A few of the bands are signed to the ITALIANS DO IT BETTER LABEL which was co-founded by one half of GLASS CANDY, who Refn used to great effect on BRONSON's soundtrack (specifically the bare knuckle boxing montage).
