A shot-for-shot remake, with the shooting script, starring:

Kermit as Vincent Vega
Gonzo as Jules Winnfield
Miss Piggy as Mia Wallace
Fozzy Bear as Butch Coolidge
Sam the Eagle as Marcellus Wallace
Swedish Chef as Winston Wolf
Janice as Honey Bunny
Scooter as Pumpkin
Rowlf the Dog as Captain Koons

I could see Pepe the prawn as Jimmy.

My idea: Tim Burton's "The Wizard of Oz"--

No musical numbers.
95% CGI.
Dorothy is a punky, spunky goth girl with a talking cat.
Seth Rogen as the Cowardly Lion.
Orlando Bloom as the Tin Man.
Helena Bonham Carter is Auntie Em.
Johnny Depp is The Wizard and all other guises.
Dorothy is the chosen one brought to Oz to fulfill the prophecy of destroying her cosmic opposite by joining the Oz resistance in order to bring democracy to the merry 'ol land of Oz.
In 3-D!
Part 1 of a Trilogy (of Quadrilogy if the numbers are solid) Prequel in a decade.

One cast member is off. Helena would be the Wicked Witch instead of Aunt Em. And Deep Roy as every munchkin.

I have said for years that it would have been better for the franchise if Lucas had actually remade eps 4-6 so that they better matched his vision for the prequels, if that had meant the original versions had been left alone and allowed to be released in good home video versions.

It's funny how many sacred films weren't even original works. The Wizard of Oz, The Godfather, The Bridge on the River Kwai were all novels. Casablanca was an unproduced play. I'm not saying anything about anyone's choices, mind you. I just find it interesting in general how many times people discuss those kinds of classics without remembering they didn't originate as films. Anyway, how would you feel about...

A Judd Apatow Production
A Greg Mottola Film
The Seventh Seal
Starring
Simon Pegg as Antonius Block * Nick Frost as Jöns
Will Ferrell as Death

Where can I pre-purchase my ticket? I'll watch anything with Pegg/Frost.

I'd still pay for a Pegg and Frost reenactment of a New Hope.

"Natural Born Killers" directed by Quentin Tarantino. You heard me.

But, I don't mean the 90s-Tarantino who directed "Reservoir Dogs"; "Pulp Fiction"; and "Jackie Brown" (that would have been sweet). I mean the fanboy-pandering 00s-Tarantino who did "Kill Bill"; "Death Proof"; and "Inglorious Basterds" where he's trying to be Guy Ritchie and the movies are 50% longer than they need to be.

The Cast
Brad Pitt as Mickey Knox
Angelina Jolie as Mallory Knox
Mike Meyers as Wayne Gale
Mickey Roarke as Dwight McClusky
Charlie Sheen as Jack Scagnetti

This is a hair too fine for me to appreciatively split.
