I hate Family Guy but I laughed a few times in there. Looks like a rental but one I'd probably enjoy.

A Friday night rental to be sure. And that's my highest praise for a comedy.
Nothing beats watching a funny movie with good friends and good drink.

Also, his character is 35, as she says. Then again, she might be playing younger as well.

This. I can't help but see Peter Griffin when Ted talks. Looks like one of those movies that may become a cult hit. Hopefully it'll be funny, but I can wait till it's a rental.

It's Brian mixed with Peter. This looks like a funny movie for 15 year olds.

Some laughs in the trailer but I will not see this in the theater or rental, maybe on a premium channel.

I don't know, but I prefer the green-band trailer that was just posted:

"I swear to God, her name is Sauvignon Blanc. Show her your Chevron card."

The green band trailer is better, because it isn't relying on the idea that a swearing teddy bear is funny.

Yeah I liked the green band because it showed the childhood for a second, and some actual conflict between the two.

I'm no longer a fan of Family Guy because it just isn't funny to me anymore.
But this movie looks hilarious. Can't wait. It should do well with the college aged crowd.

Yea, I stopped watching Family Guy a while back (I'll still watch it in syndication here and there) and I think the trailer looks pretty funny. Seems like it could be a funny movie that'll be a real easy watch.

Movie's not out yet, and MacFarlane's already being accused of plagiarism:

Cartoon brew is cool but man do they stir the pot at times (like with Tintin). Like some of the commenters said, the concept of a vulgar cute animal isn't all that new, and those pics are of an apartment exterior, being slackers, a fight, a hug? I'm pretty sure pineapple express and knocked up have those somewhere too, sans teddy bear. But maybe Seth Rogan counts.
