Re: The San Diego t-Rex in The Lost World. It is a lame sequence, but it is heavily influenced by a number of movies including the original silent The Lost World, King Kong, and oddly enough Dracula. The whole “ship arrives baring deadly cargo with all crew dead” is straight up Dracula. It’s a curiosity.

I know. But Dracula’s influence is clearly there. The t-rex is clearly being treated like it’s supernatural at that point. It’s a curiosity.

I would say JP 3 followed by JW followed by JP:LW once they leave island (whole thing goes off rails) but to me they are still highly watchable.

I forgot I saw Fallen Kingdom a few days after I saw it. Like, I saw an ad, was excited to see it, then remembered I already saw it and it was boring.
