Looks... Odd.
I guess Matt Damon is the subject of some clandestine corporate experiment?

Updated plot synopsis:
"In the year 2159 two classes of people exist: the very wealthy who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth.
Secretary Rhodes (Jodie Foster), a hard the government official, will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. That doesn’t stop the people of Earth from trying to get in, by any means they can.
When unlucky Max (Matt Damon) is backed into a corner, he agrees to take on a daunting mission that if successful will not only save his life, but could bring equality to these polarized worlds.

Seems like a wise theme, really. It will have topical appeal, so long as it doesn't get too overtly preachy. At least Rod Lurie isn't directing it.
The "class warfare" theme in socio-politics we are seeing right now is going to get much worse before it gets better.

Jodie Foster's French accent in this is far worse than Angelina's in A Mighty Heart. I didn't care for the test screening I saw last year.

That one where Bobby McFlannigan from Return to Beyond Times plays on his secondary school's Basque Pelota team.

And I still don't know exactly what we're getting. Very interested in this film though considering D9 was freaking awesome.

Holy Fuck. This a cool pic of Copley. Grizzled as fuck.
A bit of his character:
A bit of his character:
I combined references from a very infamous South African military battalion called 32 Battalion, that fought in the Border Wars in South Africa, and a stereotype of character that you get in the south of Johannesburg, where the guys are a little bit more comfortable with violence!

Blomkamp reported that the film is nearly finished post production save a few vfx shots. August can't get here soon enough. My most anticipated film of 2013.
Hi Snake. sorry but no trailer yet.
