The Darjeeling Ltd
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Fantastic Mr. Fox
The Royal Tenenbaums
Moonrise Kingdom
Rushmore
Bottle Rocket

I love all these films except Bottle Rocket, which I "only" really, really like.

I've yet to see Moonrise, but yeah...what a great string of films he's put together.... I'm never really sure what to make of them the first time through. But the 2nd (and 3rd) viewings always leave me liking them more. Hard to explain....

Very nice looking film with lots of style and hardly any emotional depth.

Watched this last night and loved it. I’d put it right behind Royal Tenenbaums.

This is right at the top of peak Wes Anderson for me. I adored this film, which I can’t say for at least half of his movies.

I’m a Wes Anderson fan, and this is my favorite one. It’s really special and so sweet. The last of his self-contained stories before they became broad, disjointed episodic fare. This one just works so well.

Is this really true of The Grand Budapest Hotel and Isle of Dogs?

Probably my second-favorite Wes Anderson after Rushmore.

Awww If it were not for that one 2014 post, this thread could have had a perfect 10 year thread bump.
