Might as well check this out in theaters, I should also try out the games probably, admittedly I'm just not a huge gamer.

This is a pretty scathing review. The critic called Wahlberg jarringly miscast and that Holland is too lamblike to convince as an open-shirted heartthrob. Also, "Every frame is so obviously green-screened, airbrushed and otherwise climate-controlled that it unfolds without a squeak of peril – the stakes couldn’t have felt lower if an extra-life counter were sitting in the corner of the screen."

Everything written here is my biggest fear for this movie. I was really disappointed with Red Notice a couple months ago because it looked so green screened that it felt completely fake. I worry the same thing will happen here.

The trailer should be enough to indicate that will be the case.

In another discussion group on a different site, I commented on how fake and cheap everything looked in the trailer. And someone immediately came to the film's defense saying the movie probably wasn't completed.

Yeah, I’ve been worried that they made it took too video-gamey since the trailers. I was hoping it wouldn’t be the case with the movie as a whole.

I saw the latest trailer on the big screen again the other day... and my thought was they should take all the No Way Home money and do another pass on the effects.

I'm going out of town next week, but I plan to see a matinee on Friday. I have no emotional attachment to Uncharted where I will get offended if they don't get certain things right.

But, I can see this cliched comment happening:

Viewer: That was a fun movie, just turn you brain off at the door and enjoy the ride.

Cynical Comment: Oh shut up, you're just a paid off Sony shill, PS4.

Pretty enjoyable until the ridiculously over the top finale. About as much suspense as Wile E. Coyote vs Road Runner.

I almost bought this at a Redbox last night for $5. Good thing I passed since it will be available on Netflix starting July 15th.

Disc is better.

I agree. If I actually enjoy it, I’ll pick up the UHD.
