Well, I tend to think of a star vehicle as a movie built around an actor's persona, like Schwarzenegger action movies or Adam Sandler comedies. I don't really see that with those movies.

Not a big Clooney fan, he has only been good in a few roles & unbearably smug & dull in everything else. That said, by far its Michael Clayton. One of the most perfect scripts of the past decade & showed me that when cast in the right role (which he so rarely is like the laughably cliched American trailer) he can be excellent.

Wow, From Dusk Til Dawn, really? Maybe I need to revisit it, but I saw it in the theatre and thought it was a pile of shit.

Up In The Air was a fantastic movie and I just saw it so it stuck in my mind, but Clooney has done a lot of awesome movies. Three Kings is a close second choice.

I'll say From Dusk til Dawn. Saw it while I was in college and loved it. My 2nd favorite would be Ocean's 11 mainly because it was such a cool ensemble film.

A personal guilty pleasure is Intolerable Cruelty mainly because Catherine Zeta Jones was smoking hot in it with her tight dresses and Clooney had great chemistry with her even though the movie itself wasn't that great.

Michael Clayton is one of the best films of the last decade IMO.
