You mean there is actually another movie that dares come out the same day as Eat Pray Love?

I hope this movie is passable for entertainment and not a jumbled mess.
It's really going to suck if the movie blows and on top of that, Solid Snake PAC winds up flunking his final. I hope one of those two has a happy outcome!

It seemed quicker in the theater, but I guess that's because it's 20 feet tall vs. 8 inches across on my monitor. Maybe you guys will like it better than I did, but I dunno, it struck me as pretty bad...

If any of you know who Mike Evans is; he is a syndicated gossip/reporter type total dbag, he did a review last week about this movie on our local radio morning show. It was an mp3 pre-recorded. He kept calling the movie The "Expandables". But at least the morning show people ripped him good for it. I think he gave it 2.5 our of 4 stars.

The footage they screened at Comic Con suffered from everything you mentioned -- violently shaky camerawork and spastic quick-cutting (not to mention the doofy-looking CG blood) -- so I don't have any trouble believing that the same holds true for the movie as a whole.

I live in a small town so this isn't even going to be playing. They are showing that Eat Pray Love movie instead. I guess I will wait for more reviews to decide if I want to drive an hour to see The Expendables.

I love Nick Nunziata's opening to his review with Renn Brown at Chud.com;
What happens if you put a bunch of veins in a room together with a powderkeg, liquid steel, a head razor, and an industrial sized keg of Muscle Milk and let a feral bobcat loose inside? The Expendables happens. A whole mess of action-types from four corners of the map with all sorts of different ways into the business are given free reign to kick ass and shoot big guns in a movie that is actually released in theaters? Sounds like a perfect snowflake. Actually it's Sylvester Stallone continuing his run of returning to his roots with class, hot on the heels of the terrific and subdued Rocky Balboa and the sublime and subtle as the detonation of the universe Rambo. The premise of The Expendables is ripped directly from Fellini's wet nightmares, a tale of tough men on a tough mission. Brown people perish.
