The old guy was probably just confused from being stuck in limbo for two and a half hours (real time). You should have gave him the kick.

Excellent film, and easily the best thing Nolan has done since Memento. I think he's got an incredible knack for putting together an amazing emsemble of talented actors. Hell, he even got me to accept Ellen Page in this... and I loathe her acting with a passion. Maybe her lack of sarcastic retorts made her more easily digestible here, though. And JGL is a show stealer... I think he's simply astounding.

I'll need to see the film again before I can fully absorb everything that was thrown at me, but I'm a firm believer that in the end .

I just came back from seeing this. I really liked it. However, I need to see it a few more times to decide wether I liked it as much or more than The Prestige (my absolute favorite Nolan film). However, I think I did like it better.

Okay, planned on going back to see the film properly tonight. Got in my car to leave and my glasses broke, right on my face without me even touching them.

I thought the scene with Marion talking with Ellen was interesting, Marion being drop dead gorgeous and Ellen looking like a child.

Let's hear your thoughts on the casting of Marion Cotillard, who's most famous for winning an Academy Award for playing Piaf and if it has anything to do with the Edith Piaf music being used as their "wake-up" music (and it's slowed-down version being used as the score).

She was good in the Edith Piaf movie.

She was good in Inception and the Edith Piaf music was fitting. Don't know what else to think. Nolan commented in the past that the Edith Piaf song was written into the script years ago.
