Inception (Nolan, 2010)- The Reviews Thread

Re: Inception (Nolan, 2010)- The Reviews Thread
You know what was confusing/sloppy? The end sequence with Cobb, Ariadne, Fischer, and Saito.
Completely changed all of the rules that preceded the last 20 minutes because they had to get from point A to B.

Holy crap. The hallway scene was all done with practical effects.

I'm glad to see practical effects still getting use instead of film makers relying on CGI

oh not this shit again...(gotta love bringing up this film every once in a while)
on a serious note...social relevance? I'm confused as to what you mean by that.

If only it would have had some mention of terrorism it would have been socially relevant and therefore better..
Cracking film btw. Not surprised a smart picture like this attracts some hate - not everyone is up to the task of understanding or appreciating it.

Re: Inception (Nolan, 2010)- The Reviews Thread
Maybe I'm just asking for trouble, but the movie sets itself up as being a grand thing and I guess I was looking for something that might not even be there. Change one man's psychological hangups and change the world? Didn't Dreamscape already deal with that? It has to be more than that, right?
