I'm actually not looking forward to this. The only thing I like about the ads is the photography. The film itself looks like a total bore.

I saw the trailer for this today when I went to see Thor and I thought it looked really good. I don't know if I'll catch it in a theater or wait for blu ray, but I definitely want to see it.

I'm more than likely going to see a midnight screening of this. Easily my most-anticipated film of the year, and the more I see the more excited I get. I briefly glanced at some notes from a recent screening of 30 min. from the film. It consisted of three clips, one of which apparently showed the creature. I didn't want to know much, but it did mention that That's not much of a spoiler, but some may want to know even less than I do.

I can't say anything about the film but this: "Super 8" is an AMAZING piece of cinema. JJ Abrams knocked it out of the fucking park with this one. Loved it.

Actually not anymore, I left to go to IFC. Now I'll never have to hear "why don't you play videos" again.

It absolutely has a "Goonies" vibe but it really depends on the age and maturity level. There are some genuinely scary moments, but ET had scary parts too. There's also a couple instances of swearing, including at least one use of the f-word.
