I picked up a BluRay movie at BB the other day, Dark City, and it has a movie ticket for up to $7.50 off for Clash of the Titans. Just wondering if anyone has used it, tried to use it, good at IMAX or what?

I can't see why any participating theater wouldn't accept it for IMAX. It says $7.50 off a movie ticket, and an IMAX ticket is just that.

Gonna try and use my ticket today even though it says not valid until next week.

No shit? It says that? I got a ticket from a friend, was going to use it on Sun but I'll be bummed if they won't take it. How stupid.

some movie theaters have been dicks about taking these ticket things (presumably because they aren't getting reimbursed) so some of these things are changing. the Toy Story 3 tix in TS1/TS2 blu-rays are actual discover CC codes they punch in. sort of like one of those gift visa cards. i'm sure that's in response to some movie theaters being total dicks about accepting them.

I just did a search on this again and found out that the original movie when realeased on bluray back a month ago came with the same coupon. I saw several making comments about the original and well worth seeing it before seeing the new one and getting the movie coupon as a bonus inside the case.

Since yesterday was the 9th and the ticket coupon starts for the 9th, just wondering if anyone gave it a shot and if they encountered any problems from the theater?

I'll likely try mine tom, so I'll post back on how it goes.
