Just used Fandango for the first time and I can't print tickets
I've compelted the transaction and I reach the screen with a link that says "click here to print your tickets". When I click it the ticket appears in a new browser window, but I can't print it. There are links all over the ticket linking to a "special offer". Do I have to participate in the special offer to get my tickets?
Their website sucks hard. I buy online all the time from Amazon, B&N, DVD Planet. Fandango sucks my balls.

Did you try to right click the new window and see if print is an option? I've not used Fandango, so not sure if that will work.
Also, look carefully at the new window. Sometimes these online ticket places put a print button on the page itself.

I just bought tickets off Fandango and I don't print them off. I just run my credit card at the theater and it spits them out.

Does Fandango even have the option to print tickets!? I know you can print the receipt. I've used them for years and never saw that feature. Nor would I use it. Like Draven above, I've always swiped my card at the kiosk in the lobby of the theater. Save a tree!

The Credit Card option is the easy way to do it. You can either give it to the box office cashier or look for a kiosk. I used to print it out but kind of a waste of time. Also if you have a Visa Signature card you can get one free ticket per month up to 13.50 if you buy one.

I don't use them that often, but I did for Avatar. Printed them at home, piece of cake. It's way easier than anything because you walk right in, they scan your ticket and you're done.

Printing at home is theater dependent. Not every theater will allow it. What you usually do (i.e. what people have been doing for years), is bringing the card used for the transaction to the theater, then swiping it at a kiosk (or if that's too complicated, Pops, at the ticket window).
But, I'm glad you're taking a break from yelling at kids on your lawn to go see For What It's Worth. Let us know how it is.

what is the point of printing your own tickets?
is that something old people do for nostalgia?

You guys are pretty funny. For the record I'm 31. For the record they did print. After leaving Fandango, logging in again, re-opening my ticket, it did print. Now as for the suggestions about not printing at home:
If I buy my ticket online why would I want to arrive at the theater and then stand in line behind the 20+ people who are waiting to buy their tickets so that I can scan my credit card and be given a ticket? If that's the wave of the future you whipper snappers are fucked in the head.

The theater usually will have several kiosks that you can use instead of the regular box office line. Either the line will be minimal or non-existent. Have you not seen these at your theaters?

How is that faster than printing it at home?
(admitadly my situation of not being able to print the ticket is perhaps an answer, but seriously why wait until you arive at the theater? Just print them at home.)

Where did I say it was faster?
It's just another option that was pointed out since you, incorrectly, said you couldn't print tickets. I was just clarifying your statement about having to wait in line at the box office when, in fact, you don't have to get in the box office line.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but... I purchased the Jurassic Park set that includes a Fandango ticket. Went to the site, entered the code and it says it's invalid. So where the eff do I go from here? I bought the set partially because of the movie ticket. Am I just screwed?

Their website is crap. I bought a Blu-ray last month because it had movie cash for Deadpool 2. I was able to redeem my code but after doing so it wanted me to select a theater which it wasn’t allowing me to do at all. The location was totally off and I couldn’t enter my zip code to select my theater. I wound up frustrated with it and just gave up. I wish they’d just include a redeemable certificate that’s already made up like some releases used to.

Thanks guys. Tried again this morning. No dice on the official "Fandango/JurassicPromo" redeem page. Didn't seem to matter if I tried spaces, dashes, no spaces, etc. It was a no-go.
I did end up getting it to work on the checkout screen though. Put a single ticket in the cart and entered the code in the promo/coupon box. Worked just fine that way.
