He's definitely got the eyebrows and he is a good actor. I just wonder if they went a bit too young with him. Aren't Magneto and Prof. X supposed to be around the same age?

I'm already liking that Magneto helmet design. Better than the one they gave McKellen during his run.

they're only 2 years apart. Fassbender born April 2, 1977 and McAvoy born 21 April 1979. Fassbender just has a more "mature" look than McAvoy. I was kinda surprised when I looked up that info too. Fassbender looks like he's at least 7 years older than McAvoy.

Wow. Then McAvoy is real baby faced.

yep. I thought he was maybe 27, a bit older than I. Nope. He's 31. I also thought Fassbender was like in his late 30s.

Likewise. I just though Fassbender looked good for his age. Didn't realize he was actually young.

Wow, what a terrible misquote for a divisive headline.

^ Actually that's a cast shot for the new Law & Order: High School Truancy Unit.

I know, right? The Twilight bit was just a joke at the end of the interview.

Yeah, I noticed. Which means that this is indeed a reboot, despite his semi-claims to the contrary. It may borrow elements and storylines from the previous films but it's a brand new franchise altogether.

I don't like James McAvoy, and with all the bad pre-release images and info I'm not sure this'll be better than any other X-Men film.

Re: X-Men: First Class (Vaughn, 2011)

I am really looking forward to the trailer for this one, if only because I am so curious to see how different this will look from the previous films. There is a lot of promise inherent with this film, I just hope they don't fuck it up.

I just want a movie where I see them in their radikulos comic book costumes. Is that so hard to ask?

Re: X-Men: First Class (Vaughn, 2011)

Does it say anything about the trailer/movie if they're premiering it 4 days after the Superbowl that was on Fox?

/\ That could possibly be a bad side, indeed, although Fox didn't advertise any of their films for some reason.

Eh, I don't think so. Maybe they just wanted to save $3 million and not show 30 seconds of the movie. Showing it tomorrow will give them a bit more PR time to themselves since most of the other blockbuster movies have already shown live footage. I'm very eager to see the trailer as well.

What's with Hollywood's trend of teenage superhero movies?
