Looks pretty good, I like the choice of music in the trailer too.

I agree, looks cool. It's been a while since I last watched Romero's version, but I remember thinking it was kinda boring and slow. I'll likely watch it again before seeing this, but I def like the look of this new one and the casting. I spoke with one of the lead Crazies at a convention a couple months ago and he showed me some pics of his on-set makeup. Pretty gruesome stuff.

I like trailers like that with a music montage of action and a melancholy song. Reminds me of the recent Last House trailer with Taken By Trees's Sweet Child O' Mine.
I look forward to this.

Directed by Breck Eisner (Sahara)
written by Ray Wright (Pulse, Case 39)
and Scott Kosar (The Amityville Horror, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre)
Sounds like it has alot of potential.

^ why would they put such an "iconic" song in the trailer, as soon as you hear it you automatically think of another movie. A better movie.
Well, at least they didn't use Lux Aeterna..

When I hear that song, I think of Gears of War from that AD they had a while back. I still think that song fits well with the trailer.

i thought the same thing about Romeros'. I have the R2 DVD and really didn't like it too much. i do like the concept and will more than give this a chance.

I'm a fan of Rahda Mitchell and Timothy Olyphant, so I'll see it. Can't say I'm too pleased with them seemingly turning this into another zombie flick though.

Re: The Crazies Trailer
I saw the original film a few months ago and did not like it. But I am really looking forward to the remake after seeing the trailer.

Re: The Crazies Trailer
Guess I'm in the minority in the thread, I really like Romero's original. Maybe because of the spot it takes in his career as a transitional piece, but I can really see the bridging of Night and Dawn in it. It has some interesting plot elements and the story is twisted. I think a remake can be good though. Looks like they took the premise and just ran with it.
