I'm still waiting to find out what the hell happened to Barricade. Sure the comic adaptation showed Optimus Prime smashing his head into a pillar after he killed Bonecrusher. But if it's not in the movie itself, it doesn't count.

What's even funnier is that either the Writers/Bay said this would be explained in TF2. HA!

If you listen to the audio commentary of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, it seems like Ehren Kruger had little to no input on the the script beyond telling them who the Fallen was in the comics. Orci and Kurtzman take credit for practically everything in the movie except for Jetfire. Apparently that was adlibbed by the guy who did his voice (Mark Ryan, I believe).
Originally he was supposed to be super wise and regal with a pompous air to him. Michael Bay didn't like any of the auditions (including John Turturro) and then Mark Ryan made him all old, bitchy, and senile. Michael Bay loved it and there we had Jetfire. I like the cranky old man aspect but I didn't care for the spitting or the parachute fart. They were amusing on their own (not so much the fart) but it felt like way too many old geezer gags when it was all put together. Had TF2 been better overall, the Fart, Robot Balls, and Ghetto-bots would've been minor disturbances in the force. But since the film sucked so bad too so many, these are like "The worst things ever!!!" in a film. |

But, yeah, you have a definite point. It's like how you can overlook the Small Soldiers-inspired sequence that really grinds the middle of the first movie to a halt. |

People seriously find her hot?

I like skinny chicks, what can I say.

Re: Transformers 3 Announced
I've liked skinny chicks from time to time but there's got to be a limit. The girl practically belongs in a Unicef ad.

Re: Transformers 3 Announced
I'd fuck her. But she's not my type of gal. I like more natural looking gals w/ meat on her. Even Megan Fox wasn't woman enough for me, but I'd take her if she was given to me.

Whether it's Megan Fox or Rosie Huntington-Whiteley makes no fucking difference in the quality of this movie, so who cares!

Re: Transformers 3 Announced
We need a Stan Bush song for TF3.
Is there a reason why Michael Bay won't put his music on any of the TF movies? |
Re: Transformers 3 Announced
There was a track in the credits I think for TF1 one...wait...it says TF2. So it was in TF2
Classic original (which I swear if this played when Prime and Megatron fought in TF1 I would've wet my pants out of nostalgia) <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AZKpByV5764&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AZKpByV5764&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> The new version of it.... <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/s0qF5XcLz6I&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/s0qF5XcLz6I&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> |
Re: Transformers 3 Announced
The Touch was in neither live-action movie. You do hear briefly some of Vince DiCola's score for the animated movie when the cell phone of Sam's mom rings as Soundwave calls her.
|
Re: Transformers 3 Announced
I was really disappointed that "The Touch" wasn't in either movie. Would it have killed Bay to play it during the credits or something?
Wait...you're saying it was in the credits for the second one? I guess I've never watched the credits, so I wouldn't know. |
