I'm guessing they did it in post. James Cameron is a buddy of his so maybe he convinced him and/or helped him out on the 3D.

Glad to hear Bay knows about TF2's weak points, though doesn't every director cover that ground when hyping a sequel to a sequel? Still, sounds like it'll at least be a fun ride. Now, if they can only keep it around 2 hours....

Well, it sounds as if Bay is going to try to give this more of a story, props to him and the crew for listening. Hopefully this will be as good, if not better then the first one, and not be total shit like the second.

I hope this will be post 3D, that would make more sense. The trilogies cinematography really should be consistent, and shooting in 3D would kinda mess up the "look" of the films. Plus then I won't feel bad about seeing it in 2D.

Shockwave's the villain. I guess that's pretty cool. Shockwave was slightly bad-ass in the cartoon. Although he does sort of sound like Stewy from Family Guy.

Shockwave was a total badass in the comics. He even ousted Megatron as leader of the Decepticons through a forceful coup.

Rodimus Prime's robot mode should be streamlined to something less "busy". Make him closer to Optimus or Bumblebee. Also, although I dig the car they chose, I was always hoping he'd be a classic muscle car in the movie.

Is he going to be "Rodimus Prime" or "Hot Rod"? If it's Rodimus Prime, then we have a pretty big spoiler.

Agreed. I really like that design.

Peter Weller is rumoured as the voice of Rodimus Prime and that sketch says Hot Rod and features a quote from the animated movie as his catch phrase. I'm guessing we do have a pretty big spoiler.

So the question is wether they'll stick to dead is dead? And did Sam simply jump into the flash sideways in the last movie?

So how long after the second one is this supposed to take place? A few years (like the space between the first and second) or almost immediately after RotF ended?

what's the "plot".....or is that still secret?

All I know is that it centres around the space race between the US and USSR and how the Transformers were involved in that somehow. Also, there'll be a sequence in Iraq but I don't know if that'll be for the opening action sequence or if that will serve as the film's climax.
