Matchup #1
Goodfellas vs Se7en- Haven't seen either in years, but you can't beat Scorsese's use of music and ability to create iconic images and scenes out of this movie. It's a friggin opera.
Matchup #2
Heat vs The Matrix- Abstain. Saw heat once under horrible viewing conditions and don't remember a thing about it. Loved Matrix when I saw it, but it's been a long time and the sequels really ruined the whole enterprise for me.
Matchup #3
Pulp Fiction vs Fight Club- The only movie that I would vote for over Pulp is Boogie Nights. Because Boogie Nights is the greatest film of all time. But Pulp Fiction easily beats Fight Club in my book.
Matchup #4
The Shawshank Redemption vs Terminator 2- Well, we're talking favorites. I saw Shawshank once in the theatre and loved the hell out of it. But I can watch T2 once or twice a year and enjoy it every time. Linda Hamilton should win a Nobel prize for that performance. Not an Oscar, a fucking Nobel.

Matchup 1 is incredibly easy - Goodfellas
Matchup's 2 & 4, however, are incredibly hard.
Matrix
Shawshank
Both by the slimmest of margins.
(And I don't care about either title for #3.)

I am saddened that Heat is losing to the Matrix. I was kind of expecting it, as it seems like this would be the kind of crowd that would love the Matrix. Maybe I missed out since I didnt see it in theaters, but it is a decent flick. Enjoyable, but nowhere near as good as Heat.

The only movie I don't own (and haven't seen) is Heat.
Goodfellas (easy)

Pulp Fiction (easy)
T2 (tough)

Most of my favorites were eliminated in the first few rounds, but I still enjoy most of these even if I don't have any particularly strong emotions about them.
Goodfellas
The Matrix
Fight Club
The Shawshank Redemption
