I'm going 10/17! I was really pissed I missed out on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Nightman Cometh" tickets for 9/22, but I also heard that people who were online when they went up got booted and there was a big fuss about it. This is a pretty great replacement.
I also Tweeted about it and Kevin Smith re-tweeted it and turned it into an advertisement for the show.

I'm going to the Dallas one!!! WOOO!
EDIT: Wait..maybe not. My gal pal has never seen a Smith film...I know she'd love him. I have to wait till 5:10pm to show her that clip of Smith at the comic con thing about Twilight. Time couldn't get any slower!!! ARGHHH!

I would love to go but I just can't afford it right now because I'm seeing the Pixies in November and that trip chewed up all my income.

Awesome show. Kevin Smith knows how to tell funny stories. Loved the Bruce Willis one at the beginning, Him and his wife getting high, Smith trying to hook up the curly haired dude was probably the best one of the night.

Ugh... why is he going to Dallas? Why not AUSTIN? And $50 a ticket for where I'd want to sit. Baaaah.

The show was pretty funny. The dude with the curly hair was pathetic and boring. The stories at the begining were good, but when the guy asked about Kevin Smith being in his movie, that's where the show took a nosedive. I had fun, but the questions were to and far between and they weren't very good.Originally Posted by mhg83

Overall, I would give the show **1/2 out of ****

I have seen him 3 times at his London shows and he is doing another next month but I'm gonna give it a miss. I really enjoy them but I got really annoyed by some of the stupidist questions ever.
Example:
Someone asked him does he watch Buffy. He said no (some people boo him. I hadn't quite realized he was supposed to watch everything in existence!). He said he has never watched Buffy or Angel. Then he made a slight joke about the Browncoats (got some laughs).
Next question straight after that. Would you ever think about working with Joss?
Seriously, he said he has never seen his work and yet he would love to work with him!
Also the 1st one I went to someone asked him how did he finance Clerks. Really, you don't know that story by now?

I wish that he was coming closer to me for an event. I was tempted to make the drive to Jersey to see him do the Live Smodcast but not at 90.00 a ticket. I have seen him a number of times and never paid a price that high. I enjoy the guy but I gotta draw a line somewhere.

Why is this live show thread in Movie Talk? Are they filming this or something?
