"A" Festivals: The festivals in Cannes, Venice, Toronto, Berlin, Shanghai, Moscow, San Sebastián, Montréal, Locarno (since 2002), Karlovy Vary, Mar del Plata, Cairo and Tokyo are listed as "A festivals", or "category one" by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF)
Q19. R: Name one of the major international film festivals (as defined by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations).

There were instructions on the first page. What I don't understand is how you don't get points for certain answers and there seems to be one right answer.

I'll leave the UMD thing up in the air for the next two questions. Once I am working on Question 21, I'll work backwards and see how the votes fall.

On the Sheep questions you want the most common answer or the answer you think everyone will say.

On Reverse sheep you want your answer to be unique and not the one everyone else picks.

Again, can you buy a video codec at the store?

What does "buying it at the store" have anything to do with it?

They don't fit the "supported by two major studios" part.

The game is called Sheep, they flock together. You have to have at least one other person matching for it points to count.

Re: Movie Talk (Reverse) Sheep — A Forum Game

I went to Karlovy Vary in 2003 for the film festival -- it was *AMAZING*. I hope the good vibes I got from that trip carry over into MAJOR points this time around. The good kind, I mean.

Then again, I thought Tone Loc and Flashdance were both LOCKS.

I got that. I just don't get why some answers get no points and some other answers which seems pretty decent get penalized.

Thanks for not being a smartass like arminius.

Ipod video isn't supported by two major studios? Or WMV as digital copies?

If that's the kind of argument you're going to present, then I see no point in continuing this debate.

I'll step back and watch the results unfold. I was disappointed in myself for not getting to this game before the deadline. I'm having some fun watching the results and rudimentarily keeping track of how I would have done. I hope The Bus does a TV version or another movie version soon!

EDITED TO ADD: BUS, IF YOU DO COUNT VOTES, BE SURE NOT TO COUNT ME!!!
