I saw it yesterday at my local IMAX and there were like 8 12yr olds sitting behind me. What's wrong with parents today?

i dunno. 12 year old is around the age i'd probably start letting my son watch rated r material. i mean, i saw predator 2, terminator 2 and total recall all around that age.

They must have been 12, they could have been younger- I really don't know anymore. Anyways, I don't think this movie is appropriate for that age- maybe 14 or 15, but not much younger.

I work the door at my local multiplex and some parents have been bringing their <10yr olds to the movie (some as young as 5). I gently remind them about the R-Rating for sex and violence- they don't seem to care.

But isn't it the same with most R-rated movies? Granted this one does appeal more to the younger crowd.
