It looks like an advertisement for whatever he's riding.

That grin is a stark contrast to the stoic faces of the other posters.

Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
This looks terrible. Like god-fucking-awful.
The first one way okay - although it was such an incredibly transparent rip-off of Ghostbusters, and the pacing of the movie was god-fucking awful. The second one was horrible. The animated series was better. |
Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
My only hope is that it's better than <b>I, Robot</b>.
|
Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
Yeah I don't know about this. So far from the previews it's looking like it won't be that great. I really only kind of liked the first one and the second one was pretty bad. Plus I'm not a big fan of Will Smith in general really.

Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
Well, looking at the plot, this is a direct rip off of "Star Trek: First Contact."
|
Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
So is Josh Brolin supposed to be in his mid-20s in this?
|
Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
He's supposed to be 29, according to the trailer. J comments on how he looks like has city miles on him.
|
Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
Josh Brolin seems like he'll be pretty funny. Will Smith didn't have any good lines in this one.
I like that they'll be going back in time. If MIB was Ghostbusters, this is Back To the Future. |
Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
The first one is pretty good, but part 2 was awful. I'll probably see this one since I have a free ticket from part 1's BD. I just hope it's semi interesting, unlike the last one. Was it necessary to get Barry Sonnenfeld back? I think I'd rather have had someone else take a shot at this series.

Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
Rick Baker is awesome. Wished there were more movies that used his artistry.

Well, a high percentage of gay viewers for the film just took a drop :p

I enjoyed the first one (haven't seen it in quite a while though) and thought the second was awful. |
Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
From what I've been hearing about that video, I expected much worse. I see no problem with what WS did.
Back to MIB3, I heard Richard Roper talking about it yesterday, he said it was a million times better than MIB2. Now that doesn't mean that 3 is a good movie since 2 sucked huge balls. |
Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
Yeah, it's not hard to make it better than MIB2 but that's good it's not the same direction. I just want a decent movie.
|
Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
yeah, guy was being weird. WS was in the right. And it was a light slap too. Nothing to be hurt by..so he was lucky.
on topic: I love Rick Baker. |

Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
Off question:
I just went to Wal-Mart and got the first one on BR for $12. I went in to get the movie cash only to find it is a code. I peeled off the sticker and it took half the redemption code with it, so I cannot make it out to enter it online. Any suggestions as to what to do? I love the movie but I will say getting the free ticket to part 3 was a motivating factor. |
Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition
either contact the movie money company or take back the disc to walmart and get another one.

I wonder if this will dethrone The Avengers next weekend? I'm thinking it will be really close.

Even if Avengers had a great hold like 30%, that still puts it under $40 million. I think it'll finally drop the 2nd place. |
