Re: Did You Contribute? — How many of 2008's hits did you see in theaters?
I saw 95% (19/20) of the 2008 hits in theaters.
Only one I didn't see was Sex and the City.

Weak year for me. 25%. In theatres, I saw:
The Dark Knight (twice, once in IMAX)
WALL-E (twice)
Iron Man
Incredible Hulk
Quantum of Solace
The following I either saw on DVD/Blu:
- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
- Hancock
- Kung Fu Panda
- Sex and the City
- Mamma Mia!
- Wanted
On an airplane in-flight movie:
- The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Haven't seen yet:
- Gran Torino
- The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
- Slumdog Millionaire
Or have absolute *ZERO* interest in ever seeing at all:
- Twilight
- Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa
- Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!
- Marley and Me
- Get Smart

25% here.
The Dark Knight
Iron Man
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Quantum of Solace
Slumdog Millionaire
I rarely go to the theater anymore and I'm very selective on what little I do see.

With a new baby, we only went to the movies twice in 2008....X-Files and Quantum of Solace.

I saw 3:
The Dark Knight
Iron Man
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
I viewed the others by "alternative" means, but I spend so much money on DVDs, I figure me and the movie industry are even.

Like someone else said, the only one I wish I had seen on that list that I didn't was Gran Torino.
And for the record, I chose to see Speed Racer over Iron Man in theaters. Watched Iron Man on Blu-ray when it was released. I enjoyed it, but I totally made the right decision during theatrical run to see Speed Racer instead.

Wall-E, Kung-Fu Panda and The Dark Knight.
I didn't notice that Wanted made enough to be in the top twenty.

Re: Did You Contribute? — How many of 2008's hits did you see in theaters?
I saw Iron Man in the theater and loved it.
Saw Dark Knight via XBLM and .....didn't like it.
That's it from the list. Most of those I would never even consider watching.
I do have Wall-E coming from Netflix though.

Thanks to free tickets at various retailers, I see pretty much everything.
95% for me. Only skipped Madagascar 2 because I've yet to see the original.

Don't go to theaters any more unless something really catches my eye, so I just saw Gran Torino (well worth it) for a 5%.

On the list (30%):
The Dark Knight
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
WALL-E
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Wanted
Marley & Me
Others:
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Leatherheads
Zack & Miri Make a Porno
Bolt
Transporter 3
X-Files: I Want to Believe
I probably saw more in the theater this year than I have in years.

Re: Did You Contribute? — How many of 2008's hits did you see in theaters?
I usually get in the habit of either making sure I see stuff in theaters or waiting until everything is on DVD. I feel like the latter will happen this year, only because I had a weak fall and missed a lot of the Oscar contenders so I have a pretty good backlog: Milk, Button, Doubt, Bashir, The Class, etc.
