Sorry about that. I never remember you being an ass to anyone on here so I shouldn't have typed to conclusions so quickly.

Re: Inception (Nolan, 2010): Contemporary Sci-fi/Action

Last night I had a dream that someone was filling up my office with huge stacks of coat-hangers, blocking my desk and everything. When I asked my office mate who had done it, she wouldn't answer.

I suspect that Leonardo DiCaprio is the culprit, acting out of frustration for not being able to find out any of my secrets.

Will Chris Nolan have the guts to call for a reshoot and add this scene to the movie?

Every time someone reads one of your posts, they get instantly dumber. I think I hear your Pokeman movies calling for you.

Yep, and to prove your point, you misspelled Pokémon.

No he didn't. He meant the actual PokeMAN.

^ We still don't know much about the movie and it's too early to put up a reviews thread. We're trying to fill space the best we can so the thread doesn't disappear.

It sort of looks like it might be similar to Dark City.

off topic but on-topic about the off topic: I think I was the most vocal guy about him. His reasoning was total nonsense, and being very passionate about film and filmmaking so much that it's what I do at school...he just irked me BUT...one thing that I did smile/laugh..was his 2 hour rated R thing. Also...I think he didn't consider animated films...films/movies/motion pictures...the kid had issues.

That guy did have issues. I think he wound up being little more than a troll.

I had a dream last night that I was standing on 42nd St. and Broadway in my underwear. I can't prove it but I'm quite certain that Leonardo DiCaprio entered my dream and stole my clothing.

Nolan referenced that flick in an interview I read with him concerning this upcoming movie. From the trailers I'm concerned that the dreams look a little pedestrian and not especially "dreamlike". I'm no great creative genius but even my dreams are a little more exciting than simply inverting gravity in familiar structures. Nor do dreams always feel real as Nolan seemed to be claiming from an earlier quote. I suspect this is more of a "switch your brain off" movie than most this director has so far made - "it's my take on a Bond movie".

Wow there's a ton of pre-release buzz for this movie.

I'll be there though, hose in hand. Nolan has never let me down. I think he's probably the most exciting mainstream tentpole filmmaker today. And put me down as someone who really loved Insomnia. Wait what did I mean by "hose in hand"?

It's called a running gag. (Like my Megan Fox posts.) It used to be a staple of comic plays and movies. Back when people had attention spans and could place things in context. Now, it's called trolling. Whatever the hell that means...

Running gags have wit, timing and context.

Trolling consists of pinging on something you deem negative and doing it over, and over, and over again.

Re: Inception (Nolan, 2010): Contemporary Sci-fi/Action

When I think of the best sci-fi films I've seen in the past 15 years - 12 Monkeys, Gattaca, Matrix, Dark City, Mindgame, The Fountain, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Watchmen, Donnie Darko, Primer, Children of Men, Sunshine, A Scanner Darkley, District 9, The Road - I see them as all equally awesome. I don't know why people are arguing whether or not Inception is going to be better or worse than Dark City.

I'm always thrilled to see any kind of sci-fi film get professionally done and not turned into some brainless action movie such as Ultraviolet, The 6th Day, Paycheck, Next, Resident Evil, Star Wars prequels...
