Re: Movies with the same names?

Gladiator was the only case where Ridley Scott should have had exclusive ownership of that title but in all other cases I think it is lazy and stupid.

You lose respect for a movie if it has an unoriginal title.

Inglorious Bastards and Inglorious Basterds. I don't know what this is. Homage?

Not 100% the same, but just shows complete lack of creativity and makes it confusing as hell:

The new one is apparently spelled "Inglourious Basterds", just to compound that frustration for you.

I thought that's how they were spelling it but when I went into the Inglorious bastards thread to clarify using the teaser poster (red one with bullet hole in it) it was spelled "Inglorious Bastards". I didn't know what to think.

Re: Movies with the same names?

Flashpoint is also the name of modern western film with Treat Williams and Kris Kristofferson.

Another one is Pulse with one of the Lawrence brothers and Cliff De Young from 88.
