Being a lifelong resident of the area, I'm curious to know which small theater in Louisville you referenced. Are you by chance still in the area? If so, are you familiar with the Midnights at the Baxter?

Re: Name As Many Movies As You Can That You've Seen in Theaters

Sweet thread! I can remember most of the movies I saw, even as a kid, though I am 23 so not sure it's that long ago. I liked going to the movies but I really enjoyed just watching them on HBO so I never really felt the urge to go see them. When I was 3/4, my brother worked at a local theater so he would get us the promotional shirts for movies like Lean On Me, Who's That Girl, Prince of Darkness, The Serpent and the Rainbow, Who Framed Roger Rabbit with the short advertised on the back, and Vibes which was pretty cool.

Can't remember the very first, but remember 1989 very well: Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Police Academy 8 City Under Siege, Pet Cemetary, Field Of Dreams, Batman, Ghostbusters II, Ernest goes to Jail, Back to the Future III, Godfather Part III, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Three Men and a Little Lady, Flatliners, Honey, I Blew Up the Kid, Father of the Bride, My Girl, Problem Child 2, Under Siege, Star Trek VI, T2, Alien3, Once Upon a Crime, Home Alone 2, Stephen King's Sleepwalkers, Muppet Christmas Carol, The Lawnmower Man, Batman Returns, Toys, Unforgiven, Stay Tuned, Aladdin, Addams Family Values, Jurassic Park, Matinee, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Mask, Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, Casper, Dunston Checks in, Congo, Batman Forever, The Indian in the Cupboard, Outbreak, Waterworld, Independence Day, Eraser, High School High, The Phantom, The Rock, Mars Attacks, Star Trek First Contact, Jingle all the Way, Batman and Robin, Air Force One, Con Air, Face-Off, The Jackal, Alien Resurrection, Contact, The Devil's Advocate, Austin Powers, Anaconda, Tomorrow Never Dies, The Negotiator, Small Soldiers, Mercury Rising, Men in Black, Star Wars Re-Release, Beverly Hills Ninja, Jackie Chan's First Strike, Mr. Nice Guy, Armageddon, Bulworth, Liar Liar, Godzilla, Paulie, The Mummy, Deuce Bigalow, US Marshals, Rush Hour, The X Files, The Truman Show, Saving Private Ryan, Lost In Space, The Matrix, Blade, The World is Not Enough, Office Space, The Spy Who Shagged Me, Blade II, Daredevil, Spider-man, South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut, Reindeer Games, Traffic, The Mummy Returns, Die Another Day, Goldmember, The New Girl, Man on Fire and the only movie I ever walked out of, Dumb and Dumber: When Harry Met Lloyd. I should have known but I was under the impression Matt Stone and Trey Parker were working on it.

Sure I've missed some, but it's kinda weird that I remember a lot of them and where I saw them as a kid, but not much from when I saw them later on.

This thread has been fun for me, because it's helped me remember a lot of movies I was taken to as a kid. Keep 'em comin'!
