Nightmare Before Christmas is my favorite seen it over 200 times since i first saw it when it first came out and batman returns would be my second

Nightmare might not count since he didn't direct it. And Corpse Bride is probably just outclassed by the other films, enjoyable as it was.

Big Fish was a great step forward for Burton, but my all time favorite would be a three way tie.

Ed Wood
Edward Sissorhands

Ed Wood may end up actually nudging the other two out. That movie is just fantastic.

My favorite Burton film is still his first, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. It's the perfect blend of Tim Burton's visual flair, Danny Elfman's brilliant scoring, and Paul Reubens' insanity(back when it was still fresh and original).

Close behind are Ed Wood and Beetlejuice.
