Thunderball. Bond gets into that fistfight with Colonel Bouvar and flies away in with a jetpack! The DB5 also shows up, so bonus points there.

True, but in Goldfinger he blows something up, changes from a wetsuit into a dinner tux and still looks like he just stepped out of a GQ photoshoot, makes out with a chick and then uses her as a shield, and beats up and kills a guy.

What more can anyone ask?

Goldfinger by far. It's basically a self-contained mini Bond film.

My other favorites are:
Goldeneye
Octopussy
The World is Not Enough

I have to say I'm suprised so many people like the opening to For Your Eys Only. In theory it's cool, but in reality I find it kind of embarassing.

I'd have to say my favorites are:

The Spy Who Loved Me
Moonraker
Goldeneye

I also like OHMSS but the undercranked action in it always kind of bugged me.

Goldeneye is my favorite, mainly for the shear audacity of it.

After that I like FRWL (for it's simplicity), SWLM (Union Jack!), and Goldenfinger (b/c it's so shocking).

The World is Not Enough.

I also love the pre-credits sequences for Goldeneye, Licence to Kill, The Spy Who Loved Me, and Casino Royale.

its kind of obvious in alot of the fight scenes in the early bond movies. its really obvious in the car chase in goldfinger, espeicially in the Ultimate Edition.

I'll go with the Goldeneye opening. But I did just rewatch Moonraker recently for the first time in a number of years, and I had really forgotten how awesome that opening parachute scene is---amazingly well-filmed.

It's such a dick move you have to love it. No better than the guy deserved.
