I thought both films were bad in their own ways. Exorcist 3 remains the only decent sequel in the franchise.

Footage from the trailer that is set to come out in 3 days.
Annoyed (but not surprised) they are making the zombies fast instead of the slow moving kind from the book.

Re: World War Z
From the brief clips shown, it almost looked like the zombies were moving as a cluster, like fire ants. If that's the case, I'm cool with that since it's something we've not seen before (I've already accepted that this will be NOTHING like the book).

The concept appears to be that the zombies clamor over each other to get at the people, which causes the wave-like behavior you saw in the clips.

The running zombies did look a bit silly. But I could see it being nightmarish. Slow hoards of zombies always take some editing moves and leaps in logic to get on film. Oh noes, it's a zombie - I'm going to have to jog away!
Also, I know that Brad Pitt and Co. will put in a fun, engaging story to make things enjoyable.
After listening to the celebrity audio book, I'd still prefer to see a movie as a chain of vignettes.

Looking forward to seeing just for the fact that part of it was filmed in my home town of Glasgow in Scotland. It was weird seeing our city centre made up to look like Philadelphia.

I agree. Looks really weird. They move as a collective. Then again, I haven't read the book, so don't know if they're supposed to be like that or not.

While I prefer slow zombies, it's not like I can't enjoy fast ones. (I loved Zombieland and the Dawn of the Dead remake). But yeah, these look kinda silly.
The teaser poster was released. Looks really blah. They should've gone with something more like the book cover.

Re: World War Z
They reminded me of the fast wall crawling creatures in "I Am Legend".
But I'm still game for this flick.
