From what I've read, I'm not even sure if you could honestly say they ruined it, as the name sounds to be the only thing they've carried over from the book. But I guess I'll have to see for myself. The book is fantastic though.

I'll give it a read, I know I have a copy in my bookshelf. My son read it a few years back (and he generally doesn't like reading) and he raved about it.

It sounds like Pitt's character is there to report on what's happening. In the book, he's out getting stories after the incidents. In this, it looks like he's there documenting the action.

A friend saw it earlier tonight in Austin. Said it was grand and got a special WWZ shirt. He's going back on Friday.
