Re: Best David Lynch Movie
Mulholland Drive is still my favorite. I don't think I've seen another movie that "Got inside a characters head" or worked with dream theory anywhere near as well. Best version of Wizard of Oz

Mulholland Drive isn’t all that open to interpretation. Lynch set up a solvable puzzle. And asked people to figure it out. He even put a list of clues with the dvd insert.
After you understand the basic concept, I suppose the details between dream and reality are fun to think about.
The new season of Twin Peaks wasn’t all that painful to decipher either. Though I remember being lost on the tea kettle and Jeffries stuff.

I voted Mulholland Dr. but I do love Blue Velvet and even though it makes no sense, Lost Highway.
Eraserhead is a very interesting oddity. Can't say I really liked it yet am captivated every time I see it.
Some of the Way over the top performances in Wild at Heart kind of ruin that film for me even though I still enjoy it on that crazy Lynchian level.
Actually, now that I think about it, the only Lynch film I truly don't like is Inland Empire.

I don’t have Showtime so I still haven’t seen the new Twin Peaks series but I loved the original.
