Here's an online version of the story, which also reveals that the state had to turn the film down: http://www.startribune.com/entertain.../16918101.html

I agree we can probably safely assume it's referring to Gran Torino. But I'm still a little surprised that no one's been able to get anything official on the project.

Looks like he's gonna go after Spike Lee.

Looking forward to this. I hope Eastwood continues his trend of coming out with this many movies. While he's not always perfect, he rarely outright disappoints.

Wow...I want that poster. It's so much of a classic manly looking poster. Eastwood just rocks. Reminds me of Steve McQueen in Bullitt kind of...the cover I mean.

I like Older Eastwood the actor over Younger Eastwood....Older Eastwood is just an old badass, he rocks. Though his Leone films are badass, and favorites of mine.

Looks like a poster for the NRA.

Someone should tell Eastwood he was a badass.

You take that back, lol. He's cool as an old man kicking ass in a manner that's possible for his manner and age. I mean...the moment I see him jumping thru a window...and I'll lose faith. Jumping thru a window at his age NOW I mean.

Eastwood has said that this will probably be his final film as an actor.

It'd be cool for him to quit after this one if need be..as long as it's a damn fine farewell to being on screen.

Disgruntled Korean War vet Walt Kowalski (Eastwood) sets out to reform his neighbor, a young Hmong teenager, who tries to steal Kowalski's prized possesion: his 1972 Gran Torino.

With Clint directing and starring, this has Awesomesauce written all over it.

maybe it's just me but..why is it important that it's a young Hmong teenager? Is that somehow relevant to him being a Vet?
