Nice use of the rejected Inception teaser poster.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

So will they finally reveal that most of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and TDKR was really just an attempt at extraction while they were sitting on the plane heading back from the work camp in Batman Begins?

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

Well the teaser trailer does feature a spinning top with voiceovers by Bale and Oldman. :)

cool teaser poster. I was almost certain I was to be underwhelmed by it. Shows what I know.

Reminds of of those "when you see it, you'll shit bricks" images.

There is no Easter Bunny! Over there that's just a guy in a suit, just like, well, Batman.

Often at the midnight shows I'll say something like "Please turn off your phones because you all paid a lot of money and came out very late to see this, and it's incredibly rude to everyone around you to spend that time on your phone distracting them."

I figure if I ever leave the job on my last day I'll say "And if you don't turn off your phone I'm going to have men go in there and shoot you in the back of the head. No warning. One minute you'll be on your phone. The next your brains will be all over the seat next to you."

Considering they obviously haven't shot a large part of the film yet, it would make perfect sense to base a teaser on lines and scenes from the first two films plus it does help with the idea of bringing it full circle. That could mean it's genuine.

yeah...I really really want to see a full on shot of Bane.

I don't think you'll get a full on shot of Bane. This isn't a red band trailer.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

Somebody may have just committed career suicide. What’s more, they’ve probably dropped their local small-fry cinema into hot water..

According to Rob Garwood, a comment board user at CinemaBlend, a cinema in the UK have started showing the teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises already. The cinema staff know that they shouldn’t be playing it, but they have done so anyway.

Garwood says that he works at the cinema, down in Falmouth in Cornwall. Sure, tonight he does – but tomorrow? I wouldn’t bet on it.

To back up his report on the trailer, Garwood provided this image, apparently snapped from the screen:

http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/...x/7db1d1c4.jpg

And here’s his description of the trailer:

Gary Oldman voiceover, talking about how they needed him, then he had to disappear. Footage of Bruce Wayne walking up the mountain from Batman Begins, and surrounded by bats from Batman Begins. This is intercut with Gary Oldman looking like he is dying in a hospital bed, talking to what seems to be Bruce Wayne in the foreground. Footage of the batpod driving away from the camera from TDK. Then it goes black, and Tom Hardy as Bane in his mask appears for a moment, then disappears. Logo in a crumbling skyline, as in the poster, then the film name, then a shot of a worn out Batman about to fight Bane in the foreground.
A description corroborated by Aint It Cool News:

Cut to Gordon in a hospital bed laying on his side. Looks to be in serious pain. Has A breathing mask on. He is talking to someone.

Gordon: “We were in this together, then you were gone…….Now this Evil rises. The Batman…..HAS to come back.” (all this is said in a very raspy voice, in much pain)
And so on.

I meant to put it in the Random Pix Thread. I copy and pasted here then realized I was in the wrong place. It's for the people who've seen all kinds of shit in the poster.

 In 1999, I took off two days for Phantom Menace along with a crew of my friends. When the trailers were running before the midnight showing, some ass clown started with his laser pointer. I stood up and basically said:

I took a vacation day today to stand in line for this seat. I took a vacation day tomorrow since I won't get home until close to 3 a.m. That's two vacation days. If anyone points a laser at the screen for the next two hours, I'm going to get up and beat the F out of you. Understand that I'm here with 15 other guys if you think I'm kidding. I'm praying one of you dumb son of a bitches tries me...

It was without any exception the best behaved audience I've ever seen a movie with...
