Is it at all possible we could see the return of Ra's al Ghul?

This is from comicbookmovie.com:

I think it's pretty convincing.

....I can see this guy doing it. And that deep as fuck voice..that's his real voice too. IF they're going that route of putting Croc in there.

That's as close as I could want Croc in TDKR.

No. Just no. Everyone knows that Tom Hardy was cast as Egghead:

Well, while we're throwing out all of these classic villains, I'll suggest my own: Crazy Quilt

It will be such a tough role to crack... but Hardy's a hard-boiled actor so he probably will be most eggcellent. Sorry for so many egg puns, I guess the yolk's on me.

As Groucho has clearly shown, Egghead will go through various costume changes in The Dark Knight Rises. Not just the leather thing with those very 90's shoulder pads. I'm actually quite egg-static to see how hardboiled he'll make Batman before his shell cracks.

Maybe the "Rises" refers to a Soufflé?

re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

The Comic Book Movie scooper page offers a possible leading lady and a role for her in the third "Begins" film. "Charlize Theron, who is a client, has been approached to play a Detective Named Sarah Essen--a love interest for Jim Gordon," they write. I'd be surprised if the film really went in this direction, giving Gordon a bigger role than he's ever had on screen.

The scoop continues. "Actresses Kacie Thomas and Vera Farmiga have auditioned for the character role of Julie Madison. A love interest for Bruce Wayne." The Madison character briefly appeared in "Batman and Robin." With all the plates still in the air from "The Dark Knight," I wonder if their will really be time for a love interest.
Julie Madison is interesting, though I would rather see Silver St Cloud finally get some screen time.

That Theron rumor sounds like 100% bullshit.

re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

I would rather not see a love interest sub-plot in the third film. I feel like we have seen enough of "Relationship Bruce" through the Bruce/Rachel arc of the first two films. There may be some closure that still needs to be brought to that arc in the third film, but shoe-horning in a new love interest in what is meant to be the closing film of a planned trilogy seems like a bad idea.

Especially given the fact that Gordon was still married at the end of Dark Knight. If Theron were to play Selina Kyle in a brief bit, I could live with that.

and yet it didn't work in either film.

It wasn't a planned trilogy.

If only because it means Nolan would finally cast a decent actress in his Batman films. I'm not to sure I'd buy Theron and Oldman as a couple.

Gordon cheated on his wife with Sarah Essen in Batman: Year One.

Not really interested in seeing that aspect of Gordon on screen, if that rumor is anywhere near true.

Yeah...but that's an origin w/ Gordon being flawed to start with. This Nolan Gordon I can't see doing that.

Same here, unless she's still pissed about him faking his own death.
