What about Hendricks in the role of Joker, Riddler, Robin, or even Commissioner Gordon? She could play any character. She should be in a Batman film or any film. If Hollywood can put Danny Trejo in every film, then they should put Hendricks in every film.

While she has a body that just won't quit, KH from the neck up just doesn't do it for me. Then again, that would fall right in line with Katie Holmes & Maggie Gyllenhaal.

It just seems wierd mentioning Hendricks, Holmes and Gyllenhaal in the same sentence. Hendricks is at a much higher level than those two! ;)

By higher level do you mean via your erection or personable standing in your book?

For me both. However Holmes is pretty damn hot in my book.

My book is nothing but 200 pages of "All work and no play make Jack a dull boy." :(

Holmes is pretty but she wasn't adult (visually speaking she still looked too young) to be that character. MG was better.

I liked Holmes a lot better then Maggie. Maggie is just so damn ugly.

I didn't mind Maggie G's looks, but that damn lisp thing she has going on killed.

I preferred Maggie over Katey. They should just say Rachel survived the explosion and became Christina Hendricks. I don't care if it doesn't make any sense.

Mad Men is one of the best shows on TV. Second only to Dexter, in my opinion.

I was trying to trace all the Christina Hendricks comments back and I found it led back to Hokeyboy. Was there any serious info about casting her or was that it?

Anyway, along with Christina Hendricks, I also think Jon Hamm should have a part in the next film. Maybe he could be the next DA.

It was meant in jest but she'd make a damn fine Poison Ivy or Thalia Al Ghul (the latter should appear if this is indeed the final chapter as it would bring the story full circle).

I like that idea but I also want to see him as Lex Luthor in the new Superman movie.

Yeah. He'd be great as Lex. Man....I want to see a great Supes film again.

And if we didn't need another reason to love Christina Hendricks, she recently stated in an L.A. Times interview that she "loves Tom Waits."

It's funny that I'd recognize Tom Waits on sight but his name didn't ring a bell. I had to Wikipedia him and went "ooooooooooooooh" the moment I saw his face.

Yeah, she's pretty much perfect. Le sigh.

HOWEVER, I will say that I didn't see the episodes from the first one, they were somewhere in the middle of the season...at least I think they were. I couldn't tell, as it seemed rather disjointed.

Hated Mad Men.

MM is a diabolically smart show with brilliantly understated dramatic content.

But I do agree that it could be improved a great deal if, for instance, Gary Oldman would walk into the offices at the end of every episode and solemnly and explicitly capsulize the episodes many themes under the auspices of having a conversation with Sterling or Cooper.

That, and having more characters getting appendages torn off.

It's a great show, but there's definitely room for improvement.
;)

Do I have to draw you a diagram?

....Yes....draw the diagram. I'd like to see the beautiful science behind it.

This thread has moved into the special kind of hell, one reserved for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.

A better question is why people insist on talking about Batman in what is clearly a Christina Hendricks thread (thread title be damned). -ohbfrank-

Like Book never would've moved there himself, given the opportunity....
