I'm not sure if it's real, but I thought it was worth posting considering the source. I know that IMDB gets a lot of technical specs wrong, but to put up an fake image to one of the most anticipated sequels seems like it would be a big mistake.

Which works perfectly, since based on the trailer Inception appears to be a shot-by-shot remake of The Matrix.

If they use the Riddler, I hope he's cool as shit. I guess I don't like the idea of Riddler used as a villain because all the other movie versions were silly. But then again, that's how I felt about Joker, and Ledger is the best Joker out of all formats (books, comics, previous movies/shows).

If I was Nolan, I would be signing Christoph Waltz to play Riddler (or some other villain) as soon as possible. His performance in Basterds was the most intense acting performance since Heath Ledger's Joker.



If the Riddler is used, won't it be problematic that the Riddler will look like some evil version of the Green Hornet or The Spirit?

Yeah, if you are a member at IMDB you can add or change anything and I'm not sure of the IMDB's actual process of confirming added material. I've been updating my own IMDB page for years and I doubt they are calling the productions I've worked on or actually watching some of the crap I've worked on to confirm anything. It usually just gets updated in a week or so once I enter it.

For a movie as big as this one would be, don't you think something would have leaked out regarding even a single writer attached to it? That kind of stuff stays secret for about a minute in Hollywood, especially on something this popular.

That poster is fan-made, and not even one of the better ones. There are several I've seen that actually fit in with the previous movie's poster style.

Wow, what an incredibly cheesy poster. It's like someone put a bunch of Arial font question marks and then placed a Michael Jackson silhouette on it. I know it's fake but it's like they aren't even trying anymore.

he served his purpose well in the 2nd film. the fact that he became weak and was just pushing drugs on the street showed how much he, and crime overall had fallen thanks to batman.

Though Michael C. Hall would be a GREAT Alex Murphy/RoboCop for the reboot.

I think I would only want to see the Riddler show up if he was portrayed as a Zodiac-style serial killer. Hall would be great in that role, even if it is a little similar to Dexter.

I'd really like to see Catwoman show up as a romantic interest, as long as she's the Brubaker/Cooke version. Could see someone like Eliza Dushku or Michelle Rodriguez filling that role nicely.

And this is a longshot, but Hunter Rose would make a great Nolanverse Batman adversary. He's not a DC character so there might be some legal hoops, but has appeared with Batman before. (And it could lead to his character getting his own movie, too.)
